Toxic Plants that can Harm Your Cat

Cats are curious creatures that love to roam and explore indoors and outdoors, depending on how you raise your cat. Many cat owners do not realize they may have dangers lurking in their own backyard or even in the home! There are many different types of plants that can cause your cat to become sick and/or possibly even cause a fatal reaction.


If you suspect your cat has ingested a toxic or poisonous plant it is imperative you contact your vet immediately! We don’t want to scare you but this can mean the difference between live or death for your furry family member.

Some signs your cat may have ingested a toxic or poisonous plant are as follows:

* Diarrhea
* Loss of appetite
* Pale gums and/or tongue
* Convulsions
