General Appearance: This dog has a black coat trimmed with symmetrical markings of white and rust. Their thick coat does not fare well in hot or humid climates they are seasonal heavy shedders and require daily grooming.

Temperament: The Bernese Mountain Dog is extremely loyal to its family he usually attaches himself to one family member in particular. They are eager to please and train. Intelligent and loving they make an excellent family dog.

Weight: Males 85-110 lbs and females 80-105lbs
