After some research, we decided to get a copy of Horse Illustrated to see what the magazine has to offer.
We were thoroughly impressed with Horse Illustrated – It is the magazine for responsible horse owners and lovers.
Inside the magazine is anything and everything you could imagine wanting to read about horses. From information on training, riding, barn maintenance and everyday horse care.
Not only is this magazine subscription well worth its money in resources it has a touch of humor, further making it the best magazine of its kind! We do not currently own a horse, but after reading this magazine and all the tips, we certainly wish I did!

Q&A columns - regarding problems you may experience with your horse and how to deal with them.
Monthly Breed spotlight – which includes a poster that can be removed from the magazine and saved.
Horse Project diaries are also a favorite!
This magazine is for both English and Western style horse riders.
Lastly, in the back are ads for horse camps, horses for sale and a ton of other things a horse lover may be in search of finding.
