Adding Pet Affiliate Programs to your Pet Business
If you have an existing website to sell your own products, you should also consider adding some affiliate programs and you can increase your income! The ideas are endless and so are the available programs, you just have to find which one works for you and your website needs.
 What is a Pet Affiliate Program?
In short an affiliate program is when you take links and display them on your site and receive a commission made through any sales on your site. Example: if you sign up with PetSmart to be an affiliate, when doing so you will recieve an affiliate ID that is unique to you and your business. You then display links and banners on your site that will include your affiliate ID so that you receive proper credit. It is important to get the links
from the affiliate website and to make sure it is displayed properly on your site, to ensure your commissions are received.

What to do with pet affiliate programs:
The two main ways I choose to use my affiliate programs are writing articles and product reviews. I then include my affiliate links through out the article and review. This is a great way to get an order and also supply content on your website. Or you can simply just add a banner or so to your pages, it depends on the route you choose for your business.
Affiliate programs can be a profitable addition to your website and another stream of income but it will take time for you to promote and you need visitors!
